Bernd Boente, manager of IBO/IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (55-3, 49KOs), spoke to reporter Alexander Pavlov and denied rumors that Wladimir's fight with Dereck Chisora (14-0, 9KOs) is being canceled. There are negotiations taking place for a possible unification clash between Klitschko and WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (25-1, 23 KOs). The fight with Chisora is scheduled for April 30, while the fight with Haye would take place in the month of July.
Sources close to Chisora's promoter Frank Warren have told British outlets that Klitschko's only option of withdrawal is a pre-fight injury. Klitschko withdrew from a previously scheduled date with Chisora after suffering an abdominal injury last year.
