It was reported earlier that Sauerland Event made an offer of 5 million euro for Wladimir Klitschko to fight WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck. Wladimir, who defends the WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF titles against Mariusz Wach on November 10th, rejected the offer. Huck returns on Saturday, defending his title against former WBA champion Firat Arslan.

"I'm not going to rest, I'm going to put together a new offer with a [higher] amount," said promoter Kalle Sauerland.

Wladimir's manager, Bernd Boente, says the main obstacle has nothing to do with money. The Klitschko brothers are under an exclusive contract with German television netwrok RTL. Huck is under contract with rival network ARD. Even if Sauerland offered 100 million euro, Boente says it wouldn't be enough to make Wladimir fight outside of his RTL agreement.

"We have an exclusive contract and we are not going to fight on a different channel, even if we were offered 100 million euros," Boente said.
