On June 12th WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck will defend his title against Krzysztof Glowacki. The fight will take place in Chicago and will be part of Al Haymon's Premier Boxing Champions series and will be Huck's United States debut.
In the co-feature slot, American contender BJ Flores (31-1-1) is slated to face an opponent to be determined. Since suffering his only loss - an unanimous decision against Danny Green in 2010 - Flores has reeled off 7 consecutive wins.
Flores said that he wants to face a top level opponent so that afterwards he can secure a fight against Huck or any other cruiserweight champion.
"I need a big name opponent on June 12th so that I am in position to fight a big name champion like Marco Huck. My team is aware of that as well and are working hard on securing the best possible opponent for my next fight," Flores told BoxingScene.com.
