Light heavyweight prospect Badou "The Ripper" Jack (10-0, 8 KOs), promoted by Lou DiBella and Leon Margules, has responded to a recent article which appeared on BoxingScene.com, related to the legal situation with his managers Milton and Steven Heid. According to the article on BoxingScene, a bankruptcy court in Las Vegas refused to cancel the Jack's managerial deal. Jack is fighting at Texas Station in Las Vegas on a Showtime televised card Friday night.

"I have read the article about me and my management. Michael Marley, who wrote the story, is a good friend of my manager and that´s why he writes the way he does. He´s only heard one side of the story and never asked for my side of it. They are professional business people and know what they are doing. They have a lot of money and power and it´s a part of their lifestyle to treat people like this," Jack said.

"I'm only a boxer. I did a dumb move and signed a slave contract. But all people make mistakes and this was my life´s biggest mistake. I´m not first fighter to have been conned and used by his management. It´s just a part of the game I guess. But the truth will prevail and I am not worried about that. I will get out of this contract soon."

"At the moment I am focused on my fight Friday night and I am too strong to let any crap affect me. I´m a fighter who likes to focus on my career and becoming a world champ. Whatever they do they won´t get to me. I´m a very strong individual."
