WBC super middleweight champion Badou Jack (19-1-1, 12KOs) is already planning a jump in weight to 175-pounds.

Jack's ability to make the super middleweight limit of 168 is getting tougher with each fight. He returns on September 12th, when he defends his belt for the first time against mandatory challenger George Groves. The fight will be part of the undercard to the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Andre Berto Showtime Pay-Per-View.

Jack captured the WBC title in April with a twelve round majority decision over previously undefeated Anthony Dirrell.

"I think in the future it's going to be hard for me to make 168. I think I'm going up to 175 next year," Jack said.

At light heavyweight, the two main players at the top are Sergey Kovalev and Adonis Stevenson. Jack views Kovalev as the king of the division with Stevenson falling in at number two.

"[When I move up I want] anybody who has a title. That's the goal, to move up and get a title there. For me [Kovalev is] the top guy, he's proven himself. He's the man," Jack said. "But right now I'm at 168 and I'm focusing on George Groves. After that fight we'll see what's up."
