Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum dropped in at the Wild Card Boxing Club on Monday as Manny Pacquiao continued his preparation for his April 9th fight against Timothy Bradley at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
The trilogy bout will headline an HBO Pay-Per-View event.
The veteran promoter said afterwards - "I was very pleased with how Manny looked."
He added,"This Manny Pacquiao is the best Manny Pacquiao I've seen before the (Oscar) De La Hoya fight."
Pacquiao has been out of action since his defeat last May at the hands of Floyd Mayweather. After that contest he underwent surgery on his right shoulder. Arum believes this has made a huge difference.
"Because he could function with the right hand but he's had that tear since the De La Hoya fight which is now repaired and he's using that right hand a lot more effectively," explained Arum.
"I just saw him hitting the pads and he's using that right hand, it's cracking as good as the left and that hasn't been the case before."
Arum has been steadfast in his belief that Pacquiao will fight on past April 9th.
"Again, that hasn't changed. Manny says what Manny says but my belief is my belief," he stated.
Bradley, who is now trained by Teddy Atlas, won a controversial split decision over Pacquiao in 2012. Pacquaio got revenge with a twelve round unanimous decision in their 2014 rematch.
