On Saturday night in Carson, California, Arthur Abraham (32-3, 26 KOs) saw his dreams go up in smoke when he was dominated over twelve rounds by WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward (24-0, 13 KOs). The loss eliminated King Arthur from Super Six Boxing Classic. With the loss, Abraham loses three of his last four outings, including a one sided loss to Carl Froch and DQ defeat to Andre Dirrell. With respect to his future, Abraham is still not sure on what he plans to do.

Although Abraham is much smaller than his Super Six opponents, a move back to 160 is not going to happen. Abraham was struggling to make 160 for several years and no longer capable of making the weight in a safe manner. He would like to fight again before the year is over, but he's not sure on when that will happen. The next fight is almost a given to take place in Germany.

"I don't know what I'm going to do right now. Going back to middleweight is not an option. It's not going to happen. I'll go home, sit down with my promoter and my team, and figure out what's best for my career. I'm not happy about the loss to Ward, but I felt that I did well," Abraham said.
