Ukrainian featherweight Arnold Khegai will meet Panamanian veteran and former WBA super fly champ Liborio Solis on the undercard of the Hamsat Shadalov vs Alex de la Rosa fight at the Uber Eats Music Hall in Berlin, Germany on Friday, September 12.
Khegai, 22-2-1 (14 KOs), of Odessa, Ukraine is coming off a split decision loss to Joet Gonzalez in March, while the 43-year-old Solis, 37-8-1 (18 KOs), last fought in March, losing a unanimous decision to Hector Sosa in Panama.
Also on the undercard is former IBO middleweight champ Etinosa Oliha, 21-0 (9 KOs), who was just days away from fighting Ammo Williams in a final IBF eliminator in July when the fight was canceled after he failed an eye examination. The problem is now fixed and Oliha eases back in a six-rounder against Croatian journeyman Ivan Njegac.
Big Cuban heavyweight prospect Carlos Castillo Rodrigues, 7-0 (5 KOs), squares off against Ukrainian Konstantyn Dovbyschenko, who is tougher than his 10-18-1 (7 KOs) record shows.
Cuban amateur star Yusnier Sorsano Ruiz will make his pro debut against Mexican Javier Castaneda Dominguez, 9-4-2 (4 KOs).
Cuban amateur superstars Lazaro Alvarez and Arlen Lopez are both on the bill as well.
