WBO junior middleweight champion Demetrius Andrade (21-0, 14KOs) feels very confident that he has the ability and the necessary skill to defeat WBC/WBA welterweight and junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (46-0, 26KOs), who most experts regard as the best "pound for pound' fighter in the sport.
This past Saturday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Andrade retained his title with an easy destruction of mandatory challenger Brian Rose.
"[Marcos] Maidana, he put up a good fight but he was just a bull. Mayweather did what he had to do, but I clearly believe that I can beat Floyd Mayweather. I got the key and the tools and the ambition and everything I need to get it done," Andrade said.
