Demetrius Andrade was all set to face Jermell Charlo in a defense of his WBO junior middleweight belt on December 13th on Showtime at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Inexplicably he dropped out of the assignment amidst rumors of outside interference and dissatisfaction with his co-promoters Joe DeGuardia (Star Boxing) and Artie Pelullo(Banner Promotions).

It seems as though the parties have reached an accord for 2015.

"We are working now on his next fight, we've actually had lengthy meetings with him and resolved any last issues that he had," said DeGuardia to BoxingScene.com. "We're moving forward together now for him to fight in March, April or May, whatever is the quickest date he can get."

And he will be facing Charlo, who is his mandatory defense.

"That's what we're negotiating," DeGuardia confirmed to BoxingScene.
