Unbeaten lightweight Alejandro Luna (17-0, 13KOs) is the latest fighter to sign with adviser Al Haymon. Luna made the announcement on social media.

“Happy and excited to announce that I have signed with Al Haymon. Fight date soon to come,” was what Luna announced on both his Twitter and Facebook handles.

Luna last fought on March 7 of last year, knocking out Sergio Rivera in the first round. It would be his last fight under contract with Gary Shaw Productions.

He signed a managerial contract with Joel De La Hoya and there was even talk he would have eventually sign a promotional contract with Golden Boy.

That did not materialize and De La Hoya and Luna amicably parted ways.

Luna resides in Whittier, a suburb located east of Los Angeles. The 23 year old Luna trains out of South El Monte and was recently sparring with Petr Petrov.
