The WBA European Convention in Madrid July 17 features a boxing event promoted by The Boxer Club with fighters from German Agon Sports on top of the bill.
In the main event, Agon’s junior lightweight, Spanish-Moroccan Moussa Gholam, 23-1 (14 KOs), will defend the WBA Continental Americas title against Argentina’s Maximiliano Veron, who is 12-4-1 (4 KOs) .
In the co-feature, Cuban Arlen Lopez, 4-0 (2 KOs), defends the WBA Continental Americas light heavyweight title against Mexican Paul Valenzuela Cuesta, 28-12-1 (12 KOs).
German middleweight Bujar Tahiri, 19-0 (9 KOs), meets Argentinian Jonathan Wilson Sanchez, 25-7-1 12 KOs), with the vacant WBA Continental Gold title at stake.
The undercard features the likes of bantamweight Samuel Carmona, 13-1 (5 KOs), and middleweight Ezequiel Gurria, 20-4 (5 KOs).
