WBC lightweight champion Adrien Broner (25-0, 21KOs) is ready to fight any of the top fighters at 135 - after last Saturday's dominating stoppage victory over Antonio DeMarco. Broner plans to stick around in the lightweight division for the moment, but a move to junior welterweight is not that far away.
"Any division that Adrien Broner is in, he will rule. [I want to be remembered] as the best boxer to ever lace up a pair of boxing gloves," Broner said.
Broner is often compared to Floyd Mayweather Jr. While the styles are similar, Broner is more aggressive and likes to get his opponents out of there. If he hurts his opponent and has him in trouble, Broner will always go for a knockout.
"In this game, you can't give nobody a chance [to recover] because every fight is only one punch away from a knockout. You don't really have to be a big puncher to knock somebody out...just the right shot. So if yu got somebody hurt, my advice is to get rid of them...if you can," Broner said.
