Kathy Duva, CEO of Main Events and promoter of top heavyweight contender Tomasz Adamek, spoke to BoxingScene.com about her boxer's upcoming fight with WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko. On Friday, the fight was officially announced to take place on September 10 at Stadion Miejski, a soccer stadium in the Polish city of Wroclaw.

"That's the stadium that we've been talking to since August, and what's new is that we have a press conference there on Tuesday to officially announce the fight in Wroclaw and then another one in Dresden on Wednesday to officially kick off the promotion. We're excited," Duva told BoxingScene.com.

39-year-old Vitali (55-3, 49 KOs) takes a 10-bout winning streak that includes nine stoppages into his defense against the 34-year-old, Polish-born, former light heavyweight and cruiserweight belt-holder, Adamek (43-1, 28 KOs). Adamek is the owner of six straight triumphs as a heavyweight with a streak of 14 consecutive wins, having last suffered defeat in February of 2007 when he was dethroned as WBC light heavyweight titlist by Chad Dawson (29-1, 17 KOs).

Duva, and Adamek, are confident about their chances to beat Klitschko, who barely lost a single round since returning from retirement in 2008.

"Obviously, he wouldn't be going over there if he didn't think that he can win. We're just excited that he's there and that he's fighting in Poland and that everything is right for him and what can I say? We'll let Tomasz speak on Tuesday and see what he has to say about it, but obviously, we're very confident that he can win this fight. That's why he wanted it and we're happy. We made a great deal for him and it's going to be in Poland. We couldn't ask for anything better," Duva said.
