Taurus "The Bull" Sykes (22-1-1), the 29 year old Brooklyn heavyweight that has been the talk of the New York gym scene over the last few years is finally ready to crash the gates of the heavyweight division and claim his rightful place in 2005 as the hottest prospect in the heavyweight division.
Step-one in 2005 will be the task of dismantling Friday Ahunanya (20-2-1) on March 4th in Hobbs, NM.
"Ahunanya is nothing. I see him and I see nothing and I am going to take the fight to him. I'm a thinker and I have also become more aggressive and that is the difference; I am going to step to him and take the fight to him. His style is chump and he can't work me and he will just be a small road bump on my road to greatness, he calls himself Friday the 13th but is closer to Nightmare on Elm Street because I will give him a nightmare straight from the streets of Brooklyn that he will never forget." Sykes said.
With the heavyweight division in the weak state that it is Taurus Sykes is ready to rescue the division and represent Brooklyn all the way to the top.
"My skills are too much for the rest of the so-called contenders in the heavyweight division. With the state of the division right now I see myself as being able to beat anyone in the division and the only thing that I don't have that some other people have is opportunity. Now I am with Lenny Fresquez and with my new team I am ready to do my thing in 2005 and I will not be denied." Sykes said.
