Nonito Donaire is once again in the title picture just one fight into his comeback, even if it was accomplished in anticlimactic fashion Saturday in Buenos Aires.

There is a dispute over which gloves Andres Campos will wear for his Saturday summit with Nonito Donaire, Jake Donovan writes

Nonito Donaire has made weight for the first time in nearly two years. The long gap is not from having ever come in heavy, but rather the decision by the 42-year-old future Hall of Famer to return to the ring. Donaire’s first fight back will take place where he left off, in the bantamweight division, where he will face Chile’s Andres Campos.

Donaire returns from a long layoff this Saturday. He will either win a secondary title belt or should head into retirement after a Hall of Fame career.

BoxingScene has confirmed that Nonito Donaire is set to face Andres Campos for the interim WBA bantamweight title in a scheduled 12-rounder June 14 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Andres Campos is back in the world title picture. Campos dropped Bienvenido Ligas twice en route to a knockout win Saturday night at the Burleigh Bazaar in Burleigh Heads, Australia.

No shame to losing to one of the best in the flyweight division. Andres Campos will now make every effort to learn from his defeat and move back into the world title picture. Campos will square off against Bienvenido Ligas Saturday night at the Burleigh Bazaar in Burleigh Heads, Australia. The 10-round bout will air live on Fox Sports Australia (10 p.m. Sydney/ AEST).

SUNNY EDWARDS successfully defended his IBF flyweight title for the fourth time with a comfortable unanimous decision victory over Andres Campos but this was a performance of style over substance.
