Amir Khan is giving Adrien Broner a shot to unseat Manny Pacquiao in January. Broner will challenge Pacquiao for the WBA "regular" welterweight title on January 19th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Broner, a four division world champion, is entering the ring as a big underdog and this is likely his last big fight opportunity.
Kell Brook is in disbelief that what he felt was a likely fight with Amir Khan is going to once again fall through the cracks. Brook returns on Saturday night against Michael Zerafa in Sheffield. In was expected by Brook that he would announce a fight with Khan in the aftermath - which was being targeted for the first quarter of 2019.

Before an intermediary reached out to Khan recently on Top Rank’s behalf to gauge the British star’s interest in facing Crawford, it appeared Crawford would make an optional title defense against Luis Collazo on March 23 at The Garden.
