LAS VEGAS – Elnur Abduraimov was entirely too strong for Manuel Correa on the Canelo Alvarez-Dmitry Bivol undercard Saturday at T-Mobile Arena.

LAS VEGAS – Canelo Alvarez came in at almost exactly the same weight Friday as he did for his only other light heavyweight bout. Guadalajara’s Alvarez was officially 174.4 pounds for his 12-round, 175-pound title fight against unbeaten WBA champion Dmitry Bivol on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena. Bivol, of St. Petersburg, Russia, stepped on the Nevada State Athletic Commission’s scale slightly heavier than Alvarez, at 174.6 pounds, on a makeshift stage outside of T-Mobile Arena.

LAS VEGAS – Devin Haney and Joseph ‘JoJo’ Diaz are set for a lightweight title fight with increased stakes. Both boxers made weight for their WBC title fight, which takes place Saturday evening at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The bout airs live on DAZN, seven days after George Kambosos Jr. (20-0, 10KOs) emerged as the head of the class following his upset win over previously unbeaten lineal WBA “Super”/IBF/WBO/WBC “Franchise” champion Teofimo Lopez Jr. (16-1, 12KOs).

Alexis Espino battered and bloodied Ty McLeod, but the super middleweight prospect couldn’t finish off McLeod on Saturday. Las Vegas’ Espino instead won a six-round unanimous decision on the Demetrius Andrade-Liam Williams undercard at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Espino won comfortably on all three scorecards (60-54, 59-55, 59-55) to remain unbeaten.

Liam Williams was held back by a security guard Friday after attempting to touch Demetrius Andrade’s dreadlocks. There won’t be anyone, according to Williams, who will keep him off of Andrade during their 12-round middleweight title fight Saturday in Hollywood, Florida. The confident underdog is certain he’ll knock off the favored Andrade, who will make the fourth defense of the WBO 160-pound championship he won in October 2018.

Carlos Gongora will defend his IBO World Super-Middleweight title against Christopher Pearson as the chief support to Demetrius Andrade’s WBO World Middleweight title defense against Liam Williams at Hard Rock Live at Hard Rock Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Florida on Saturday April 17 in America, live worldwide on DAZN – with the main event set for 6pm ET/11pm GMT.

MIAMI – Canelo Alvarez and Avni Yildirim came in at exactly the same weight Friday afternoon at the JW Marriott. Other than that, they are viewed entirely differently entering their 12-round, 168-pound title fight Saturday night at nearby Hard Rock Stadium. Alvarez, arguably the best boxer, pound-for-pound, in the sport, is consistently listed as a 50-1 favorite to beat Yildirim in a mandated defense of his WBC super middleweight title.

Julio Cesar Martinez will defend his WBC World Flyweight title against McWilliams Arroyo as the chief support to Canelo Alvarez’s defense of his WBC, WBA Super and Ring Magazine World Super-Middleweight titles on Saturday February 27 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, live worldwide on DAZN (except Mexico).

Marc Castro, Diego Pacheco, Alexis Espino and Austin Williams will perform on the biggest of stages on the undercard of the World title clash between Canelo Alvarez vs. Callum Smith at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday December 19, live on DAZN in 200+ countries and territories worldwide and on TV Azteca in Mexico.

Devin Haney will defend his WBC World Lightweight title against Yuriorkis Gamboa on Saturday, Nov. 7 and Daniel Jacobs will clash with Gabriel Rosado on Friday, Nov. 27, both behind closed doors and subject to strict COVID-19 protocols at Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Florida, live on DAZN.
