Arena Coliseo in Mexico City - WBC international lightweight champion Dante “Crazy” Jardon (26-6 , 21 KOs) continues to be one of the most exciting fighters to watch in Mexico. He got up off the canvas to knock Jairo “Doberman” Lopez (18-3, 12 KOs) out in the second round. Fans thought an upset might be brewing after Lopez got off to a fast start and dropped Jardon in the second, but the tough brawler got up and knocked Lopez out in the very same round for the win.

The weights are in for Saturday's doubleheader from the historic Arena Coliseum of Mexico City. The card will be headlined by a clash of punchers where Dante "Crazy" Jardon and Jairo "Doberman" Lopez, with the event promoted by Promociones del Pueblo and televised by Televisa Deportes. The main event will have the World Boxing Council (WBC) International silver title at stake, with Jardon (26-5, 21 KOs) hoping to knock off Lopez (18-3, 12 KOs). Following his knockout defeat to Saul "Baby" Juarez (21-4) on May 30th, former WBC light flyweight champion Adrian Hernandez (30-4-1, 19KOs) is preparing very hard for the all important rematch on August 8th at the Arena Coliseo of Mexico City. But this time, the crucial difference, which Hernandez hopes will make all the difference - is that he's again working with the great Mexican champion, Guadalupe Pintor, who was his mentor.

Adrian Hernandez' aspirations of landing a showdown with World flyweight king Roman Gonzalez could have very well crashed and burned in Mexico City. The former 108 lb. titlist suffered a shocking 8th round stoppage loss at the hands of Saul 'Baby' Juarez in their chief support bout Saturday evening at Arena Coliseo in capital city.

Adrian 'El Confesor' Hernandez is more than a year removed from his reign as a 108 lb. titlist, but still has the championship taste in his mouth. The former two-time beltholder was upended in six one-sided rounds by Naoya Inoue last April. Just one fight has followed, a 2nd round knockout of Armando Torrest last November, taking place at the flyweight limit.

Adrian Hernandez is ready to continue his quest for a flyweight title fight, while Nery Saguilán strives for a crack at the junior welterweight crown. Both fighters made weight for their separate co-headliners Saturday evening in Mexico City. Saguilán showed far more discipline at the scales than was the case in his last bout. The aspiring contender came in at 139.5 lbs. for his regional title fight with Wilfrido Buelvas, who tipped the scales at 141 lbs.

The former WBC light flyweight champion, Adrian Hernandez (30-3-1, 19 KO’s), has his sights firmly set upon conquering another WBC world crown, but now a tad heavier in the flyweight division. Adrian said that this division is one of the most currently competitive categories, as it's presided over by WBC champion Roman Gonzalez (41-0, 35KOs), who's formidable and undefeated.
