Adrian Granados: record, next fight and profile →
BoxingScene.com has learned that Keith Thurman-Josesito Lopez, Leo Santa Cruz-Miguel Flores and Danny Garcia-Adrian Granados are among the FOX main events that’ll be revealed during a press conference Tuesday in Los Angeles.
Adrian Granados gives Shawn Porter credit for doing enough to beat him on the scorecards 10 months ago. Granados contends, though, that he deserved better than losing by the identical wide distance, 117-111, on all three judges’ scorecards. The junior welterweight contender also feels Porter received help from referee Gary Rosato during that 12-round welterweight bout November 4 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Adrian Granados has always respected Danny Garcia. That’s why he can’t understand Garcia’s reason for continuing to state Shawn Porter should’ve stopped Granados in their fight nine months ago at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Danny Garcia has watched Shawn Porter’s last fight numerous times. The former WBC welterweight champion takes more confidence from that footage every time he studies it. He isn’t impressed by Porter’s performance against Adrian Granados, especially since Granados really is a junior welterweight who fought Porter at welterweight for the opportunity and more money.

The Ford Center at The Star, Frisco - In a junior welterweight contest, Adrian Granados (18-6-3, 12 KOs) and former champion Javier Fortuna (33-2-2, 23 KOs) fought to a four round no-decision.
Granados vs. Fortuna Scorecard Live BoxingScene - Unbeaten welterweight world champion Errol Spence Jr. and top-rated contender Carlos Ocampo spoke to media at the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters Thursday as Spence nears his homecoming title defense against his unbeaten challenger this Saturday, June 16 live on SHOWTIME from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco in an event presented by Premier Boxing Champions.
Javier Fortuna (last 4 fights) is not busy, and is all about the power punch, as 10.4 of his 11.9 landed punches per round are power shots. Adrien Granados (last 4 fights) threw nearly 20 more punches per round than the 140-lb avg. RED FLAG: opponents landed 43.9% of their power shots, third highest among active championship caliber fighters.
Highlighting the undercard of Errol Spence’s world title defence against Carlos Ocampo later tonight is Adrian Granados (18-6-2, 12 KOs) and Javier Fortuna (33-2-1, 23 KOs) in a potentially explosive match-up to begin proceedings on a Showtime bill. Both men are looking to rebound from loses, Granados to Shawn Porter and Fortuna to Robert Easter back in January.
