Dean Lonergan, the promoter for WBO welterweight champion Jeff Horn (18-0-1, 12 KOs), says everything has been finally agreed upon fight the mandatory showdown with mandatory challenger Terence Crawford (32-0, 23 KOs).

The two sides were at odds over a few items that were agree upon.

The contest takes place on April 14th at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas - and ESPN will televise the contest.

The contest is practically a month away, but it's yet to be officially announced because the two sides were haggling over items for the contract.

One of those items was a strict drug testing protocol.

"One of the things I insisted on was strict drug tests, well above what they normally do in Nevada. They normally just do urine tests after the fight. We have a minimum of two urine and blood tests before the fight and blood and urine after the fight," Lonergan said to the Sydney Morning Herald.

"We just wanted to make sure we’re on a level playing field. I know for a fact Jeff Horn is a clean athlete. When you get to this level, there’s a lot of money at stake. For the record, Terence Crawford not only signed up for it but he didn’t care how many tests we did. That’s a good sign."

Crawford, who captured a title at lightweight and unified the junior welterweight division, will be making his welterweight debut.

Horn pulled off a huge upset last July, when he captured the WBO belt with a shocking twelve round decision over Manny Pacquiao.

And Lonergan believes Horn will be too big and too strong for Crawford.

"They should be nervous because we’re not going there to lose. There’s a lot of people in America that will go ‘sure, sure’. But nobody thought he could beat Pacquiao," Lonergan said.

"We aren’t there to make up the numbers, we’re going there to win. I can see Jeff monstering this guy with his sheer size and strength."
