Officials are set for a huge Friday boxing tourney in Moscow, Russia, which will be double-headed by two of the best Russian prizefighters, under Vladimir Hryunov’s promotion (and with a substantial assistance from Andrey Ryabinskiy).

In the main event, WBA cruiserweight champion Denis Lebedev (25-1, 19 KOs) takes on WBA “champion in recess” Guillermo Jones (38-3-1, 30 KOs) of Panama in the intra-WBA unification. The third man in the ring for the headliner will be Hall-of-Famer Stanley Christodoulou from the South Africa. He will be supported by Guiseppe Quartarone (Italy), Oliver Brien (Germany) and Leszek Jankowiak (Poland).

The co-main event will see WBA champion (a “regular” one) Alexander Povetkin (25-0, 17 KOs) in the fourth defense of his title against undefeated Polish challenger Andrzej Wawrzyk (27-0, 13 KOs). The fight is the last scheduled stop for Povetkin on his way to grand unification with the heavyweight super champion Wladimir Klitschko later this year. Referee for this bout will be Russell Mora from the United States, known best for his infamous role in Abner Mares – Joseph Agbeko I controversy. Judging the fight will be: Guiseppe Quartarone (Italy), Oliver Brien (Germany) and Stanley Christodoulou (RSA).

Supervisor for the both contest will be George Martinez. The show, which will also feature four undercard fights (not including Ukrainian contenders Dmitry Kucher and Viktor Postol, who are seemingly off the card) will be held at the Crocus City Hall in Myakinino, Moscow, Russia. The show starts at 4 PM GMT.
