Omar Salado (23-5-2, 14 KO's), a Mexican veteran who fought a couple of times for the world title at flyweight and junior flyweight, is the new opponent of undefeated Puerto Rican slugger Jonathan "Bomba" Gonzalez (11-0 and 10 KO's) on February 2 at the Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez in Bayamon, Puerto Rico - when two-time world champion Juan Manuel Lopez will make his return. Salado lost by unanimous decision in 12 rounds to Glenn Donaire and in 2011 he fell by technical knockout in seven rounds against Roman Gonzalez when he sought the crown of the WBA at junior flyweight.
