WBA interim-junior welterweight champion Marcos Maidana (30-2, 27KOs) wants the biggest fight possible, a clash with Floyd Mayweather Jr. (41-0, 25KOs). Last Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Maidana held himself together to win a twelve round majority decision over former three division champion Erik Morales. Maidana doesn't have a problem with facing Mayweather at 147 or 154-pounds. Maidana's chances of landing such a bout are slim, but there are many alternative options for the puncher from Argentina.

"I would like to face Mayweather. He is a great fighter and it would be a great fight. If I have to move up in weight, welterweight or  middleweight, I would," Maidana said.
