  • Golovkin admits he wants NO PART of Andre Ward

Informative video. Does that make him a ducking coward like other fighters who are quick to be called that?

If ward brought a huge career high payday, then yeah it would be ducking.. But since ward brings nothing to the table to match the risk, and they aren't even in the same division, it's kinda hard to call it a blatant duck...

This isn't like when Floyd and manny were in the same weight class, and was going to bring historically high purses for each guy.. That's a duck, when it's fights like that not getting made,,

Ward is the champion and widely considered the #3 or #2 pound for pounder. Shouldn't GGG and his fans take it upon themselves to actually want to fight the guy with the glory? The best guy in the division?

Ggg isn't in that division.,, he called out cotto and quillen,, the rivals to him in his division...

Isn't it about time that ward move up to 175 and fights kovolev.he has already cleared out 168. Golovkin hasn't cleared out 160'yet..

Why is ward, after clearing out his division, still hanging around and wanting smaller guys to move up...

If Ward offers to come down to 160 and Golovkin refuses to fight him I'll consider it a duck (just as when Golovkin offered to come down to 154 and fight Mayweather but Mayweather refused). If Golovkin moves up to 168 but refuses to fight Ward I'll consider it a duck. Until then Golovkin can only be considered a liar for saying he was willing to fight anyone between 154 and 168.

Not when your trying to do ward got the opportunity tondo already and unify.
After he unifys and he gets a cotto canelo or floyd fight for some cash.then yes it would be a duck. He has 2 years imo before we can say that. Plus andre gotta get active already

We can all say the same thing about andre and kovalev and stevenson

HBO paid Edwin Rodriguez a million to fight ward. Golovkin got paid 700k to fight Geale. Ward would give Golovkin a career high payday.

So why hasn't he come forward with an offer already? Top Rank did for the Chavez fight, in short order. Also, what do you think the combined purse for the Ward GGG would be?

Because the lawsuit. He's not ducking Ward at this very second or anything, but there sure are a lot of preemptive excuses flying around from from his fans and team for when Ward does comes back.

$3 million HBO license fee plus $1 million gate.
