People think they are bums but they have held their own vs good competition...
Both wont be p4p guys, but they are legit fighters, and not the bums alot of people think they are....

Chavez choked against Martinez, did nothing until the ass end
but that said, people now know he's a good but not elite fighter
Alvarez is now cracking p4p lists and people think he can beat Floyd

Honestly between the two, Canelo shows more promise than JCC Jr. who's been riding his dad's shadow the whole way up. Canelo would spark JCC Jr. if (once) they meet up in the ring.

The answer is JCC Jr. Without his name, no hype. Calling Canelo a hype job smells of baiting, there is no reason whatsoever to consider him a hype job.

Lol, it still doesn't change the fact that he got rocked by a lightweight... As far as I'm concerned his chin is suspicious. Trout was a good win, but that fight could have gone either way (I scored it for Trout). Other than that his best win was probably against a 41 year old Mosley (who like Josesito, was unranked at 154).

Zbik, Rubio, and Lee were all considered top 10-15 middleweights on most rankings and Sergio Martinez was still in his physical prime, considered the #3 P4P, lineal middleweight champion w/4 straight KO defenses.
