Honestly I respect anyone who didn't have an amateur background and made it all the way to be a world champ. Seems like a good kid. I like him.

Chris's achievements in the sport of boxing are astonishing. He's definitely a big name in and around 147 pounds.
A fight he should persue is Amir King Khan. It would be a high speed chess match with Khan putting him in cheque mate in the late rounds.Last edited by MBE; 04-02-2015, 02:46 AM.

And Algeri doesn't have the best chin in the world either. He did well in his career for what he had. Not to mention he started from kickboxing. I respect Algeri. He's got heart.Originally posted by Box-Office View PostIf that was Rios trying then Algieri was better at it.
Rios was target practice. Algieri at the very least had movement and wasn't a sitting duck. Chris got dropped cuz he tried to punch, so he gave openings. Hard to do against Rios, when you don't even punch and all you do is stand with your hands up.
Algeiri didn't throw with conviction
He didn't plant his feet .
He was punching whilst moving
And let's be clear here- his gameplan was to ko PAC
Let me repeat- algeiri did not try and win
Rios did.
Watch the fights again closely
Just because rios didn't land doesn't mean he didn't try. He was swinging big and missing late on in that fight

No amateur experience and transitioned to become a serious pro. Beating Emmanuel Taylor and of course one of the most hyped fighters in Provodnikov who gave Bradley hell and I think should've won that bout. Then to get up from being knockdown twice and a swollen eye and win the WBO belt was mesmerizing.
After that I was very amazed at the heart he showed against Pacquiao getting up from so many knockdowns and still going to the decision.
Anybody fighting Algieri got to come with their A game cuz this man ain't going no where.

Yeah....that makes you sound better
You know what sucks? That wasn't banter, you went snooping through my history to find a sucker punch intended to bury me in my own thread.
You were right about not wanting to associate yourself with "other" Khan fans. For good reason too.
You're so up your azz you're calling the same people tardish or c.ock suckers that changed their signs for you when you got banned. Provided it was only moral support, but even then. I actually held you high regards. Sigh.

Yet now you're saying Algeiri beats him just to defend Khan's choice of opponent.
Meantime, I found that gem.
I didn't ask anyone to change their sigs for me....lol I mean yeah thanks I guess but I don't care about having friends or "groups" online. Sorry to hurt your feelings.
