I already told you they offered them 600 grand to bring the fight to Detroit that is a pretty high site fee, and represents 600 grand off the top the promoters don't need to worry about making back.

The person really on the hook is the one that paid that 600 grand~ I assume they offered it because they need events in the Silverdome.

The people who put 600k must be like oh shiet, if the numbers are true, heck they have to sell 7 thousand seats at 85 dollars to make that, so a good move for money.

The starting price is 25 dollars, and it goes up to 400 dollars.

Gary Shaw and Don King do not really do a great job at promoting their fighters these days.
It wouldn't be just tickets it would be $85 for 7,000 people and include parking, concession and swag

They do. The last thing I remember going on there was the "Warped Tour", and even that took place in the Silverdome's parking lot. Are you gonna' attend this event? I'm gonna' go just to support boxing. I'm gonna' drive out to Pontiac to get my tickets next week.

Well this wouldnt be a big surprise now would it? Though the number is a bit dodgy, no expected this fight to sell big. The location is absolutely crap, and only Devon has a big following at home.

Khan-Maidana was also quite disappointing with the turnout in Vegas.

Pretty Pathetic and not surprising in the least.

You know boxing is dead in America when two Americans could sell more tickets in a different country than they can in their own.

Also calling Pontiac Detroit is like calling Newark New York~ about the same distance between.
