He just did not face as good as competition at 140. Why hasnt he faced Junior Witter who will knock him out. Truth be told Hatton even though I like the guy has a pretty good padded record.
And please do not speak about Kosta Tsuzi, who I think is the most overrated fighter in Boxingscene history. Tsuzi fights once every blue moon and lost to d level fighters throughout his career. In my opinion Kosta Tsuzi is on the same level as Arturo Gatti.

I agree completely. ppl say hatton is best at 140 means what? if mayweather fights him at 140 than hatton wins? ha, may had a better career before welterweight(skills wise not money wise). you see how he dominated hatton at 147, well he would dominate him that much more at 140. it is harder for hatton to get down to 140 and alot more draining cuz hatton walks around at 185. If may fights cotto and beats him, which he can easily, there will be a new guy, and if he beats that guy, there will be a third guy with every fighter that he beats being declared a bum or past prime fighter by may haters.

which is a huge reason hatton openly admitted he wasn't ready for mayweather in 2005 and 2006, the same for cotto, even though he didn't openly admit it. cotto came to 2 floyd fights in 2005 in bruselles AND gatti and watched floyd humiliate and destroy them both and kept his mouth shut. now, all of a sudden bob arum is brainwashing people to believe that cotto is ready, and i want to see these 2 fight so floyd can shut you people up. cotto is not ready for a mayweather fight, and he knows it. hatton was outsmarted by floyd, that's it. weight, size, means nothing when your opponent is floyd mayweather jr, the most skilled fighter in the sport of the last 3 decades and maybe even longer.

tbh hatton was always smaller and i tried to explain that to people. he is heavier only when he is fat. when hes actually in shape then hes not so heavy. i mean iof flyold was to go on an eating spree then im sure he would also be heavy.

i think that he does deserve credit for beating hatton. although i dont think hes the best welter until proven otherwise. so that means he gotta step up to the plate and fight cotto, mosely, williams, forrest, marg and even cintron and collazo. if he fights any 3 of them and wins before he retires then ill rate him as a true atg.

Hatton weighed more in the ring, on fight night, then Mayweather did, in ALL of their damned fights. pick any MAyweather fight, then pick any Hatton fight, and Hatton was heavier.
