Hatton weighed more in the ring, on fight night, then Mayweather did, in ALL of their damned fights. pick any MAyweather fight, then pick any Hatton fight, and Hatton was heavier.

If he were talking about Paul Williams or maybe even Margarito he might have a point. Hatton was big enough to fight Mayweather. It just turned out he wasn't good enough.

Similar to Bore-hard making his best wins come up from 147 to 160 or from 154 to 170.

Hatton refuse to have the fight at 140, They (Team Mayweather) were prepared to go to 140 but they said Team hatton refuse to put the ring belt on the line, It was a calculated move on Team hatton's part because that way they wouldnt lose their ring belt at 140 if they had lost the fight.

Now all the Floyd haters are saying Hatton is a blown up welterweight. But then what is Floyd? He started at 130 pounds and Hatton walks around 30 pounds atleast heavier then what Floyd does.Mayweather is not a big guy at all and I think it is a lame excuse in a fight against a undefeated top 10 p4p fighter he knocked him out. Mayweather had the 2 most watched PPV's last year by a mile and I don't see how anyone can fault him for taking the Hatton fight. Since a lot of people wanted to see it, but now that Hatton got exposed it's Floyds fault.

I agree with the premise of this thread if not the spirit. People on this site put TOO MUCH STOCK INTO WEIGHT CLASSES. Enough already. They were both 147 for the fight. Jesus Christ, you would think Hatton had to gain 50 pounds the way people are talking.

true. its nothing more then an excuse and another reason to hate on mayweather. pick a weight, 160, 154, 147, 135, 130, 126, 122.... mayweather wins no matter what weight they fight at and by a bigger margin the lower they go in weight.
