Have no problem with the location. Good for both parties. As long as there's no cali-based ref I'm good with that too.

However the premise of the thread is flawed. Ward has fought in Oakland for the majority of his recent fights. And he was a nightmare to negotiate with historically. Hell, Nicole Duva just said this was one of the most drawn out ridiculous negotiations she's been involved in.

The fact that this fight is FINALLY signed doesn't change any of the facts that happened previously.

I'm 100% certain that with a fair ref, Kovalev beats Ward.

I have doubts that there will be a fair ref. I'm worried it could be Lawrence Cole, Jack Reiss or someone else who will help Ward and permit him to use illegal tactics.
