    I am, because I think the first leg will be exciting and likely controversial. Then I get to be part of a charged-up crowd attending the return leg in Nottingham.

      Hopefully Ward sticks around at 168, so that whoever gets the decisive win in this two-legger will get to face him for a shot at complete 168 dominance. I wouldn't be against a Froch-Ward rematch at all if Froch does a number on Bute. Although, If Ward is established at 175 by that time, the winner here could conceivably move up and meet him there.

          i reckon after these two fights, Carl will move upto heavyweight to fight the Klitschkos just for the challenge.

            Thats ridiculous. This is a great matchup. Almost certainly a FOTY candidate.

            I'm sure a two fight deal is/was necessary as neither would like to give up homefield.

                I'll be happy to see things work out this way, if it all gets confirmed.

                Besides being able to attend one of the fights, two reasons;

                1. I never liked the idea of Bute being guaranteed an immediate shot at the winner, anyway. I feel he should have to go through tests like Froch and Kessler first (with Kessler out so long and past his prime, I'd venture that Froch likely provides the greater test at this time, and two nights with Carl will definitely give Bute a rough time).

                2. Ward has it all in front of him as the young ruler of a division, while Froch is an aging former titlist. There should be many big nights in Ward's future, while Froch's time is now limited - as a fan of both guys, it pleases me to see Froch bouncing back into BIG fights ASAP. He only lost clearly to Ward, he's still plenty deserving of the big stage.

                    If ward moves up to 175 he gets boxed by Dawson, and completely outboxed by Sillakh. I don't doubt Cloud would catch him at some point either.
