I think both of them are very mechanical type of fighters,just power and speed but I think Berto has more skill.Ortiz is very fast and powerful but he fights in straight lines with very little lateral movements.If you cant deal with that southpaw jab then you are done.What Ortiz needs is someone who holds their left hand high the way Khan held his against McCloskey.If you do that and you are taller then you beat Ortiz 100 times out of 100 because he can not change his style.Even Peterson once he knew how to neutralise Ortiz's jab nothing came from Ortiz.Problem with Berto is he held his left a bit low and Ortiz landed everytime he came through.Another way of beating Ortiz is just lateral movement even if it means you only move your upper body like McCloskey but.In the end Berto & Ortiz had a good style match and they produced a great fight.

Right..but i just see Ortiz do more than Berto does. I don't ever remember Berto getting inside on an opponent and throwing bodyshots with both fists like Ortiz. Berto doesn't throw many body shots at all in general. He's just quick at head hunting.

Its funny how everyone is making it seem like they knew Ortiz was gonna run thru Berto. Talking about he was actually the bigger man, faster, better shape or w.e. I remember people calling for Pacquiao to fight Berto instead of Mosley. I seen a thread during the week saying something about Mayweather should get in there with Andre if he whoops Ortiz. And now that its the other way around and Ortiz sonned Berto, Berto is a bum and Ortiz victory means nothing. **** is crazy.

There was no rematch clause with Berto, although it's rumored in the industry that Berto's promoter, Lou DiBella, has options on Ortiz's next 2-3 fights.

I think Ortiz wants to cash out now because after he fought Maidana he was worried about becoming permantly ******ed. If he fights Pacquiao he won't have to worry anymore because it would be official.

Floyd Ortiz would be a boring fight like Baldomir.

I think best fight for Ortiz in terms of money and legacy would be Maidana at 147 but I think Maidana beats him up worse than he did the first time.
