A MATHS teacher with cancer has been caught trafficking methamphetamine at a Boston school, in what appears to be a real-life version of the hit TV series, Breaking Bad.
Police have charged Stephen Doran, 57, after he allegedly had a package containing around half a kilogram of the drug sent to him at Match Charter Middle School in suburban Boston, where he had been working as a maths tutor.
Doran had been undergoing months of chemotherapy for stage III cancer.
The hit TV show Breaking Bad's central character, Walter White, played by Emmy award-winning actor Bryan Cranston, is a school teacher who starts trafficking drugs after being diagnosed with stage III lung cancer.
Walter White cooks and sells meth to pay for medical bills and to support his family after his death.
Police say Stephen Doran left his school at around 12.30pm on Tuesday and was driving in his car when Massachusetts state troopers pulled him over.
In the car, they found a package with two heat-sealed bags containing 480 grams of a crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine.
When police searched his home, they found evidence consistent with a drug dealing operation, including $10,000 in cash, a digital scale and 38 additional grams of the drug.
They charged Doran with trafficking methamphetamine and violating the state's drug laws in a school zone.
Doran was ordered to remain on home confinement with a GPS device attached to him.
He is allowed to leave his house for medical appointments if he posts $10,000 bail.
A spokesman from Doran's school, Mike Larsson, told CBS television he had "no knowledge, nor any reason to believe, that any staff, teachers, or students were involved in this matter or were in danger in any way".

For some reason in Britain's left wing media there appears to be a lot of hand-wringing going on with regards to the recent murder of an off-duty soldier in the streets of London. For some reason papers like the Guardian and their more wacky far-left cousins are very upset that there was a "rush" to label the attack as "terrorism" and that the label is somehow over-used.

The thing is that in Britain the legal definition of terrorism is "the use or threat of action where, the action involves serious violence against a person, serious damage to property, endangers a person’s life or creates a serious risk to the health or safety of the public" with the aim of "influenc[ing] the government or... intimidat[ing] the public."

Below is a video of one of the attackers. A full transcript of what he said is below the link:

http://youtu.be/AkQHArjRlV0

"We must fight them as they fight us. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.

I apologise that women have had to witness this today, but in our land our women have to see the same. You people will never be safe. Remove your government, they don't care about you."

Could you really define it in any other way?

But Im thinking about getting a glenfiddich 12 yo or Glenmorangie 10 as they're both on offer in the supermarket at the minute for under £25 so that only a few quid more than Jamesons. Which of those would you recommend or would you go for something else in that price bracket.

PS saying the different flavours means nothing to me. ive no idea what im smelling or tasting, i just know if i like it or not!

I recently started boxing been going for about a month now but have some questions about the gym and whether these things are normal practice in gyms.

My first question is the training on the training days in the week it will start with a jog for about 20 minutes then when back in the gym we will be told to hit the bags, while hitting the bags the trainer will just watch and sometimes pick out people for mitts, but a lot of the time will stand and watch and now say much. While the boxers in there who fight will get get constant advice and spar and hitt the mitts with a lot of different trainers. So 1 will watch over about 20 people on the bags while around 4 others will will work with about 5 of the other people. Then after 12 rounds on the bag we will do a circuit then its over. I just want to know whether this is normal training methods am guessing it is, as obviously the Amateur competitors need more training but the only part that bothers me is the interaction with the coach but I guess you have to earn that, but does this training sound normal?

BTW the gym has National champions and decent pros so am not guessing quality of the coaches.

Is there a chance of it happening with low competition at 147 or is broner/mayweather to cool personally for it to happen?

Something to think about Floyd Fighting Canelo now or later...

Fighting Canelo later can be a double edge sword for Mayweather.
Why? Think about this:
The more Canelo fights he gets more seasoned and we have seen it.
When Canelo fought Trout he learned alot and gained confidence.
Lets say Floyd Waits, and Canelo fights Cotto.

Im pretty sure Canelo...

The more Canelo fights he gets more seasoned and we have seen it.
When Canelo fought Trout he learned alot and gained confidence.
Lets say Floyd Waits, and Canelo fights Cotto.

Im pretty sure Canelo beats Cotto based on his power but I am also sure he will learn alot and gain more confidence.

So is it better to fight Canelo now when he is limited or wait (but he can become a better fighter).

Or not fight him and continue with the tag that he never fights the better opposition.

Abraham knocking out Jermaine Taylor, i think the fight was close at the time.

Marquez putting Manny to sleep was pretty clutch considering the direction the fight was going in

Mayweather seems very money, pun intended, he's always super chill and relaxed. Rarely do you ever see the moment get the best of him (Mariano Rivera/D. Jeter style).

Bullet Ants
Did you know we can measure the pain of an insect bite or sting? It’s called the Schmidt Sting Pain Index. And the bullet ant—so named because his bite feels similar to getting shot—is the reigning world champ. But hey, relax, the shaking and paralysis wears off in a day or so. Among the Satere-Mawe people of Brazil, a man isn’t a man unless he’s worn gloves lined with angry bullet ants… for ten minutes... 20 separate times.

Brazilian Wandering Spider
You’re looking at the freakiest eight-appendage creature this side of a Siamese twin. What’s so scary? The Guinness World Record for venomous-ness, to start. And not only does this guy have toxic juice, he can bite through your skin like a warm knife through butter on an Alabama summer night, he likes to live near human populations, and he ain’t afraid of humans. He will attack if you scare him or even try to. And, oh yeah, his bite can cause priapism(painful permanent erection). No f-ing joke.

Candiru
You might have read about the candiru, also known as the toothpick fish or vampire fish, in your favorite Burroughs, Grann or Palahniuk novel. What makes this little punk so special? Well, he has a particular place he likes to crawl up—your urethra. Did we mention he also likes to suck blood? Long considered an urban legend… until some dude rolled up at a hospital and needed one surgically removed from his junk. Our advice? Don’t go swimming in the Amazon.
