I like him because he seems to be getting better everytime I see him, and if he makes it he will have made it the hard way with no one giving him title shot for nothing like many over hyped fighters with an Olympic background.....I can think of 3 occasions where he was brought in as the opponent and got the upset win.
I couldn't find a vid of him unfortunately, if anyone can please post one if you could find something but here is his record

We all know about the shoulder rolls, the high guards, and the footwork. That said, Floyd's chin has not really been tested at all, IMHO. He may have two or three scares but not against consistent and accurate power punching.

Pac's trademark has always been KDs. Against technical fighters like Marquez in the lower weights, KDs were pivotal in the eventual result of fights.

If Floyd gets tagged solid by Pac, that might be the night for him. If he survives ala Marquez, he will be forced to sacrifice defense for offense.

If it goes to the cards, a KD will be pivotal if it is a close fight.

So here's the drill.

Is Floyd's chin strong enough to weather a Pac headshot?

Former-126lber Pacquiao dominates a guy who destroyed Paulie and would easily destroy Cintron, and the two of them accuse Pac of cheating. Sore losers anyone?

And isnt this three bad fight predictions in a row for mayweather sr?
You guys may not like this odd-looking fillipino dominating the most popular division of boxing, but it is what it is, the better fighter is left standing. :boxing:

After watching Roosters HL video of Tszyu, it got me thinking about this matchup again:

At Kostya's peak...when he still was fast, sharp, active, motivated, and moved his body/head of course...how would he have done against the version of Pac that fights between JrWW-WW?

I still say Tszyu has a solid shot because unlike Cotto, Tszyu still has a better chance to stick with his original game-plan than Cotto...and unlike Cotto, doesn't get stunned like him and doesn't throw those wide-hooks like him which leaves him wide open. Plus, as long as we are sticking with Tszyu at his best, he still makes the weight fine unless Roach wants to have him come in at like 136 for the weigh-in.

Tszyu throws right down the middle with his right-cross behind a jab and that short-lead-left-hook that we've seen time and time again stun opponents. Of course, that same punch went unnoticed for a bit because he was injured but even when he still came back, we saw its effect against Mitchell.

Pac can still win this of course, I can see that, but what Tszyu can do is much different than what Cotto was doing. I think you need to throw the straight-punches like the right-cross down the middle...and throw a jab and that short-left-hook which is sneaky and fast is also a solid weapon.

Cotto isn't Tyson or Patterson where those two could get away with throwing more hooks because they were incredibly fast and understood how to bob and weave, time, and counter better...and of course Tyson could take chances because he had a better chin than both. Yes, I know those two are different weight-classes but I'm talking about styles and Cotto's style is a poor-man's version compared to Patterson and Tyson.

This is a fight where it goes to decision... the judges agree with MOST people, so it is considered the correct decision without a ton of controversy, and the loser of the fight doesn't take a really big career hit because of the loss.

I picked Hopkins-Wright. I personally thought Wright won, but it seems like the majority of people disagree, so I'm willing to accept the fight as a justified loss for Wright. His career didn't really take that big of a hit... he was still on the P4P list, and was still considered very dangerous. It was his inactivity that killed all of that later.

What other examples can you all come up with?
