  • Comments Thread For: Froch Rejects Groves: Did He Give DeGale a Rematch!

IBF/WBA "regular" super middleweight champion Carl Froch has no interest in a rematch with domestic rival George Groves. Last month in Nottingham, Froch stopped Groves by way of a controversial ninth round TKO. Most believed the referee stopped the fight too early as Froch was trying to finish off a hurt Groves. Froch went down in the first round and was hurt several times in the contest.

Haha he has a point. I mean Calslappy talking **** he didn't give either a rematch or the 20+ bums he got premature stoppages over.

Groves should give Kenny Anderson his rematch.

Maybe you can give him a rematch if he bigs you up big time and says how great a champ you were and is more respectful?

But you are also chasing a rematch with Ward. So if Ward gives you a rematch maybe you can give Ward one later.

Guess Keesler shouldn't have given him a rematch either.

That's a good reason FOR the rematch... be the better man, don't be like them.

He will rematch him imo, Froch is just pointing out the hypocrisy of Groves/Calzaghe.

If Froch wins the rematch, it will give him the national recognition he has craved.

However, it won't be easy, Froch's low left hand defence leaves him wide open for Groves's right hand, he needs to fix that and hope that Groves doesn't "move" for 12 rounds.

Fair enough, he doesn't want the fight.

                    Ward II
                    Kessler III
                    Chavez jr
                    GGG

Which one do you guys like out of those?

I'd like to see this reinvigorated Froch vs a better Ward.
