BoxingScene.com has confirmed through several sources that Alexander Povetkin (20-0, 15 KOs) will not return to action in two weeks as perviously planned. He fought on Saturday, stopping Nigerian boxer Teke Oruh (14-3-1, 6 KOs) in five rounds at the Olimpyskiy Sports Palace in Chekhov, Russia

Povetkin was expected to return on the big Sauerland card on October 30 in Rostock, Germany. Sebastian Sylvester will defend the IBF middleweight title against Mahir Oral in the main event. While an official reason has not been presented, BoxingScene has heard that members of Povetkin's team felt the unbeaten Russian needed more time to "work on a few things" before his next ring appearance.
