Former welterweight champion Carlos Quintana thinks Andre Berto made a mistake when he signed a contract for their fight, which takes place this coming Saturday in Florida. Berto defends his WBC welterweight title. Quintana presents a tough task with his boxing abilities. He is still the only fighter to beat Paul Williams and derailed a then unbeaten Joel Julio.

Quintana is not feeling any pressure. He says the pressure is on Berto for a variety of reasons.

"The pressure is on Berto. He's the champion, and unbeaten, and has to defend the title. He is using me as just another opponent, but he made a mistake. I am well motivated and I expect to win the title," Quintana said.

Quintana has been fighting a junior middleweight in his recent outings, but he said the trip back down to 147-pounds has not been a struggle for him.

"One must work hard to get down in weight, but I've said in the past that whenever something will come about at 147, the motivation will be there to do it. Berto is big name, a world champion and a fight where if I beat him, it can get me bigger things in the future," Quintana said.
