Reliable sources have informed BoxingScene.com that Don King Productions has plans for a big cruiserweight show at BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida on March 19th.  Boxrec.com has posted the fight for the vacant IBF title between Steve Cunningham and Matt Godfrey but hasn't listed the undercard.  The title became vacant when Tomasz Adamek moved up to heavyweight.  King is rumored to have Wayne Braithwaite, Francisco Palacios and Ryan Coyne from his deep stable of cruiserweights also fighting on the card.

According to my source a television deal has not been struck and this card is most likely headed to DonKingTV.com.  That is an interesting main event and it would be a shame if a television station didn't pick it up.  I reported yesterday that ESPN2 is showing the rematch between Deandre Latimore and Sechew Powell on the same night.  With Fox Sports doing the Top Rank cards on Saturdays and having shown the Golden Boy card Shumenov versus Campillo 2, one would think that they would have interest in this card as well.  Same goes for Versus, especially since they televised a candidate for fight of the year when Cunningham fought Adamek in 2008.
