Cuban heavyweight puncher Luis Ortiz (28-0, 24 KOs) is promising to cap off the start of the year with a tremendous knockout over WBC world champion Deontay Wilder (39-0, 38 KOs).

Their clash will take place on March 3rd, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Ortiz is currently training very hard in Florida, for the contest that he's chased after for the last two years and the moment has finally arrived.

Wilder has promised to do a lot of damage to Ortiz - and already predicted a very crushing knockout victory.

Ortiz is just taking in the trash talking from Wilder and smiles.

"He says he's going to make a Cuban King Kong sandwich, he's crazy, in his mind he thinks he's the biggest in the world. He has not been in the train crash yet, but there's only one month left," Ortiz told George Ebro.

"I only know that I'm going to fulfill my dream, and this time my workouts have doubled, my diet has doubled and my mind is twice as focused. There's no way I can lose. What does not kill will only make me stronger. I've been through a lot but King Kong's opportunity to be world champion has come. On March 3, a new heavyweight champion will be crowned for Cuba."

Ortiz, 38, has heard the comments about his age - but he still feels very young and believes that Wilder has finally placed himself in a dangerous situation where there won't be any escape.

"A lot of people are saying that King Kong is old and it's not like that - King Kong has a lot of experience and I have a young and firm mind," Ortiz said.

"This is going to be a very serious problem [for Wilder], the most serious problem that he will ever have in his life - not like the time when he was caught with his [marijuana] in the car - because he knows I'm going to tear the skin off his body."
