Puerto Rican super middleweight Edgar Berlanga will be looking to make another power punching. display when he steps into the ring on Saturday night.

Berlanga, 23, was is part of the undercard for this Saturday's highly anticipated fight between Vasiliy Lomachenko (14-1, 10 KO) and Teófimo López (15-0, 12 KO) in the Top Rank bubble at MGM in Las Vegas.

Berlanga has an undefeated record of 14-0 - and all 14 opponents have gone down in the first round.

"It really is a surprising feeling," Berlanga said to Joel Rivera. “It is one of the biggest fights of the year. It's an anticipated fight and a lot of people are going to be watching that night. I'm coming off a knockout win on July 21 (over Eric Moon) so I'm hot. Many eyes will be on me, so it's going to be a great night.

“I always say that I am made for this type of moment, and now I have to take advantage of it and enjoy it. It's going to be a great night for me as a fighter. I'm young and I'm going to be fighting on ESPN again. There is no pressure. I love. I'm used to it and I'll take advantage of the moment."

Berlanga is going to face Lanell Bellows, a 34-years-old, and with a record of 20-5 with 13 KOs and three draws.

“He is a veteran and he has a lot of fights. I know he will have a plan. And I'll go with mine. I describe myself as a young veteran. I have 14 fights. So I'll go do what I do best. Take it easy and as I always say: if the knockout comes, I'll accept it," Berlanga said.

“This must be an interesting fight. He has never been knocked out and has fought some good opponents. I don't care if the fight reaches the second, third or fourth round. If that happens, better for me, because that way I can expose to people that I can really box and that I have skills and abilities that the public has never seen."

“I'm going to take advantage of the moment that they put me on a big card. Many people will be watching me, but I know I have to execute. I am ready for this fight."
