Zach Parker will return to action against Germany’s former WBA super middleweight champion Tyron Zeuge in Birmingham on March 16.

The fight will be part of Queensberry’s ‘The Magnificent Seven Ride Again’ show which also features British middleweight champion Nathan Heaney, European super bantamweight champion Liam Davies and the return of former WBO Interim heavyweight champion Joe Joyce.

Last September, Parker (23-1, 17 KO’s) stopped Khalid Graidia in seven rounds. It was his first appearance in ten months following a severe hand injury which forced him to retire after just four rounds of his WBO interim super middleweight title fight with John Ryder in November 2022. Until then, Parker seemed to be on track for world honors and he will be aiming to make up for lost time in 2024.

Zeuge (27-1-1, 15 KOs) made three defenses of his WBA belt before losing it to Rocky Fielding back in 2018. Although he has been relatively inactive since that shock defeat, he has strung together five successive wins and the shock defeat to Fielding remains the only defeat on his record.

“Zeuge’s a former world champion. He was a name the promoter put forward and we accepted the fight. We just think Zach’s a better fighter,” Parker’s manager, Neil Marsh, told BoxingScene.com. “Zach has been absolutely flying in the gym. He wants to get back to the position he was in before he broke his hand.”
