Bill Emes catches up with Zab Judah to discuss why he crashed the media event in Flatbusg, Brooklyn for Danny Garcia and his team.

Bill Emes caught the drama as Zab Judah and Angel Garcia, the father/trainer of WBC/WBA 140-pound champion Danny Garcia, were one again involved in a near brawl. Zab and his crew crashed a media event being held with Team Garcia at Modell's Sporting Goods store in Flatbush, Brooklyn. This Saturday Garcia and Judah will settle things in the ring at Barclays Center. Showtime will televise.

Three New York fighters took part in a media day event, as they prepare for Saturday's big card at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Zab Judah will challenge WBC/WBA 140-pound champion Danny Garcia in the Showtime televised main event. Also on the card, middleweight Danny Jacobs and heavyweight Marcus Browne will see action. Zab Judah has every good reason to head into the 19th world title fight of his long and storied career confident he can dethrone rising star Danny Garcia and win back the unified light-welterweight title at the age of 35. Judah looked a fading force when he was stopped in the fifth round by Amir Khan in July 2011, but bounced back in March last year with a stunning stoppage win over previously unbeaten Vernon Paris. And now Judah heads into his challenge to 140lb king Garcia - best known for conquering Khan in July last year - having been convinced by Bernard Hopkins' recent exploits that age is just a number. Hopkins - 13 years' Judah's senior - recently made history by claiming the IBF version of the world light-heavyweight title over Tavoris Cloud at the age of 48, and the fast-talking Judah believes he too is on the verge of scoring a notable success for the sport's old guard. Judah said: "I respect Danny as a champion and he has youth on his side. But the old man [Hopkins] showed you what to do, and that's to go in and annihilate these young boys.

LOS ANGELES - With the Super Welterweight World Championship Unification fight between Canelo Alvarez and Austin Trout coming up this weekend on Saturday, April 20 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, followed by the Unified Super Lightweight World Championship between Danny Garcia and Zab Judah at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Saturday, April 27 and the culmination of the back-to-back-to-back championship fight weekends, "MAY DAY: Floyd Mayweather vs. Robert Guerrero" on Saturday, May 4 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, predictions are swirling around on the internet, in newspapers and on television from boxing scribes and fans doing their best to make their calls on what will happen in the upcoming fights.

Danny Garcia has complete confidence in his ability to see off the challenge of former champion Zab Judah on April 27. Garcia is the WBC and WBA light-welterweight champion with an impressive 25-0 record, and at 25 is 10 years younger than his opponent. But the Philadelphian has little respect for Judah, who held the IBF strap until he suffered a crushing knockout loss to Kostya Tzsyu as long as 12 years ago. "He is just another guy in my way," he said. "They all say the same thing. They think they're going to beat me...until we get into that ring.

DANNY GARCIA, Unified Super Lightweight World Champion "He [Zab Judah] is just another guy in my way. They all say the same thing. They think they're going to beat me...until we get into that ring. "Everything is going solid. This is one of my most solid camps. I'm running and sparring and looking sharper every day. We're running a perfect schedule.

Zab Judah answered as diplomatically as he could, but he still didn’t sound quite convinced Danny Garcia suffered a legitimate rib injury while training for their postponed Feb. 9 fight at Barclays Center. “I don’t really know, but Danny has got one story,” Judah said on a conference call to promote their April 27 fight in Judah’s native Brooklyn. “We got another story. But Danny is a fighter, so Danny … who am I to say what really happened to him? I can’t judge that man. I mean, April 27 we’re going to find out everything.” Garcia (25-0, 16 KOs) officially pulled out of the Feb. 9 fight Jan. 27, a day after rumors began swirling regarding his potential withdrawal during another Showtime-televised event in Las Vegas.

Danny Garcia and Zab Judah appear to be on their way to making weight for their April 27 junior-welterweight title bout at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, according to figures provided by World Boxing Council official William Boodhoo. Garcia came in at 152 pounds on March 28, a figure certified by Dr. George Bonner, according to the WBC. Judah, meanwhile, came in at 153 pounds on March 27, a figure certified by Dr. Paul McHugh.

Zab Judah has been left for dead more times than anyone can count at this point. But he fights on and has another big opportunity on April 27 when he takes on unified junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia at Barclays Center in his hometown of Brooklyn, N.Y. on Showtime. "I’m very overwhelmed to be able to go in there for the first time and represent for my people," said Judah, whose win over Vernon Paris last March was his first fight in Brooklyn, though that bout was at the small Aviator Arena. "Kids that I went to First Grade with, kids I was in the projects with, people I knew from incarceration. People from all over the world are going to come and support and it’s in my hometown, my backyard. I feel very blessed to be doing this; I work so hard to give people the great, spectacular Super Judah that they want to see."
