WBC cruiserweight king Krzysztof "Diablo" Wlodarczyk (47-2-1, 33 KOs) is not going to take any chances with former unified beltholder Jean-Marc Mormeck (36-5, 22 KOs) of France. As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, their planned fight had been moved from December 22 to February 2 - but there may be further changes to the date.

After spending the last couple of years at heavyweight, and getting knocked out in one-sided fashion by Wladimir Klitschko earlier this year, Mormeck is returning to cruiser to recapture lost glory.

"I can not indulge myself for the holidays with delicious [food]. I'll have to watch my diet and weight. This is a fighter with an amazing past in the cruiserweight division. He boxed with the best and won. He's a little bit of an unpredictable boxer. I watched some of his fights and I'm impressed with his surges," the champion said.
