Heavyweight Tyson Fury has lashed out in the direction of Anthony Joshua. Joshua, who holds the IBF, WBA, WBO, IBO world heavyweight titles, made a public offer to assist Fury as a sparring partner. Fury is in training for his upcoming rematch with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder. The rematch with Wilder takes place on February 22 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
A few weeks ago, promoter Eddie Hearn - who represents WBA, IBO, IBF, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua - admitted that a 50-50 deal was likely the only way he could finalize a unification with WBC world champion Deontay Wilder.
UFC superstar Conor McGregor, who returns to the cage this Saturday night, is backing Tyson Fury to win the rematch with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder. Wilder and Fury fought to a controversial twelve round split draw in December 2018. The rematch takes place on February 22nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
In his last fight against Otto Wallin, Tyson Fury suffered a bad cut over his right eye that required 47 stitches. The gash was so bad, many believed it would not heal quick enough in order for the previously announced rematch against Deontay Wilder to go on as planned Feb. 22.
Tom Brown of TGB Promotions, is part of the promotional team for WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, who makes a defense of his title against Tyson Fury on February 22nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Brown was also the co-promoter of the first contest, which took place in December of 2018 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
