Francisco "Paco" Valcarcel, president of the World Boxing Organization (WBO), has serious doubts that a mega-fight between Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will get finalized for May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Paco could see the fight happening in the fall, around September, but he doesn't anticipate a deal coming together in the near future.

"When I see the [contracts] signed, then I'll believe this fight will happen. I do not see it for May, perhaps for September, but only when they sign and have the press conference with both of them...then it is done. Until then I will say that the fight won't happen," Valcarcel said.

"There is the rivalry between Showtime and HBO, with one fighter on each side. Showtime made a large investment in Mayweather, HBO is making a large investment in Pacquiao. They are talking, negotiating. The two fighters were on a basketball court together, but until I see the signed contracts and they make the press conference, I will say that the fight is not going to happen."
