Wayne Alexander has urged former opponent Mehrdud Takaloo to retire after witnessing first-hand Takaloo's Prizefighter defeat to Robert Lloyd Taylor.  Alexander, a former British, EBU and WBU titlist, knocked out the Margate man in two rounds courtesy of a vicious left hook back in 2004, he admitted that he was surprised by his former opponent's decision to take part in the tournament before calling for him to call it a day.

"I think he should retire.  Pack it in.  Fair dues for Robert coming in short notice, he's a blown up welterweight, really, so I was surprised that Takaloo lost the fight," said Alexander when speaking to Sky Sports.
