Daniel Dubois, 22-years-old, is viewed by many as a rising force in the heavyweight division.

Back in April, he was scheduled to take part in a career-defining fight against Olympic silver medal winner Joe Joyce.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, that fight was pushed back to July. The fight is likely to get pushed back for a second time.

Dubois has raised his undefeated record to an impressive tally of 14 wins, with 13 of them by knockout.

He was on pace to a world title shot in 2021. That probably won't happen with the sport being put on hold for a few months due to the pandemic.

Warren, a leading promoter for decades, says Dubois is the best young prospect in the heavyweight division.

Warren is also the co-promoter of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

By the end of 2021, Warren would like to get Dubois in position to fight for a heavyweight title. Anthony Joshua, who like Dubois and Fury is based in the UK, holds the WBA, WBO, IBF, IBO world titles.

One of the more popular gym stories to have circulated in recent years, has detailed a sparring session where Dubois did a real number on Joshua.

"At this stage of his career he's the most exciting heavyweight I've been involved with or seen," Warren told Sky Sports. I would have liked him to be fighting for a world title early next year, but now we have to see what will happen.

"We own [the heavyweight division]. We've got the best heavyweight in the world [in Fury] and the best young prospect in Dubois.

"Exciting times, everybody looks to us as far as the heavyweight division is concerned."
