Viktor Kotochigov: record, next fight and profile →
An MTK Fight Night event took place in Almaty, Kazakhstan, with highly-rated debutants Kamshybek Kunkabayev and Tursynbay Kulakhmet proving their worth by overcoming dangerous opponents.
For the second straight fight, David Oliver Joyce was forced to go deeper than at any other point in his young pro career. This time around, the unbeaten Irish prospect had to make the most of an awkward matchup, pitching a shutout over a reluctant Breilor Teran in their 10-round featherweight bout Saturday evening at Barys Arena in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. Scores of 100-89, 100-87 and 100-86 were in favor of Joyce, who has now gone six or more rounds in each of his last five contests.
MTK Global is delighted to confirm leading prospect Viktor Kotochigov has become the first fighter to sign for MTK Kazakhstan. The hard-hitting Kazakh, who has already blasted his way to 8-0-KO4 and seems destined for the top of sport, is delighted to have joined the world’s foremost boxing management company.
