Former champion Victor Ortiz, who plans to return to the ring in November, is still hoping to get a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr. one final time. Ortiz has been inactive since getting knocked out in two rounds in January.

Ortiz believes he can land a rematch, which is very unlikely, because Mayweather is now 47-0, and prior to Saturday's win over Marcos Maidana he announced plans to retire after two more bouts in 2015. Ortiz, now doing films and reality shows, said he's willing to do the rematch for free. They fought in 2011, with Mayweather knocking out Ortiz in four rounds to get the WBC welterweight title.

Ortiz told TMZ Sports: "He owes me a rematch, and it's a free one from me to him ... Mayweather, whenever you say, bro ... I'm waiting for you."
