CARSON, CALIF. - 'Vicious' Victor Ortiz is very confident ahead of his upcoming primetime rematch with Andre 'The Beast' Berto.

The battle of former champions takes place on Saturday, April 30 on Premier Boxing Champions on FOX & FOX Deportes from StubHub Center in Carson, Calif.

The fight is a rematch of their 2011 war, where both boxers visited the canvass twice. Ortiz won a twelve round decision to capture the WBC belt from Berto. It was also Berto's first career defeat.

Televised coverage starts at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT and features light heavyweight sluggers Edwin "La Bomba" Rodriguez (28-1, 19 KOs) and Thomas "Top Dog" Williams Jr. (19-1, 13 KOs) in a 10-round brawl and unbeaten Mexican brawler Jorge Lara (27-0-2, 19 KOs) in a 10-round featherweight bout against former three-division world champion Fernando "Cochulito" Montiel (54-5-2, 39 KOs).

Ortiz believes he will end the career of Berto, who returns from a twelve round decision loss last September to Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. That was Mayweather's final career bout before retiring.

“I've had a magnificent training camp. I would like to get the knockout and now I now have the chance. We've both fought wars after our fight, but we are here to offer a war once again.  This could be the fight of the year. I always said that if I had a rematch with him, I would end his career, and now it is time to do just that," Ortiz said.

Tickets for the live event, which is promoted by TGB Promotions, are priced at $209, $105, $53, and $27, plus applicable taxes, fees and service charges, are on sale now and are available for purchase online at AXS.com.
